Langan and Treadwell & Rollo Bring Site/Civil Services to Bay Area

For nearly four decades Langan has been providing premier site/civil engineering services to private developers, public agencies, property owners, and institutional clients along the East Coast for some of the most high-profile projects in the country. With the recent acquisition of Treadwell & Rollo, and an increased California presence, Langan and its new partner will now offer comprehensive land development engineering services from its offices in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and Oakland, California.

DJ Hodson, PE, LEED AP, a Senior Associate from Langan’s New York office, has relocated to California, bringing his 17 years of land development engineering experience to the region. Hodson led the site/civil practice in New York managing projects throughout the New York metropolitan area as well as projects in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East for Langan International. Hodson has worked on such notable projects as the New York Jets Training Facility, Hearst Tower, US Embassy in Panama and the Shops at Atlas Park (Phoenix Award winner). His expertise includes urban site analysis and design, stormwater management, sustainable design, site grading and drainage, and site utility assessment and design.

The addition of the site/civil practice to the Bay Area solidifies Langan’s nationwide footprint and international reach allowing us to serve projects anywhere in the country and around the world.

“Bringing our land development practice to the West Coast is a huge opportunity and we look forward to succeeding,” said Hodson. “Teaming with great design firms will be key. Much like New York, the world’s premier architects, structural and MEP engineers, and construction management firms have offices here. I look forward to partnering with them to show how the addition of site/civil services to our new California offices will improve how projects are completed and bring measurable value to our clients in the Bay Area and beyond.”
